Valeria Akopyan
Personal Branding and Strategy
About the project
Our agency created a personal brand for Valeria Akopyan, a professional permanent and tattoo makeup artist and global beauty mentor. Valeria has extensive experience in her field, educates other professionals, and participates in international masterclasses. When she approached us, she was already well known within her professional circles, but primarily under the school brand she worked with — not under her own name.
The goal was to build a strong personal brand and logo that would allow Valeria to promote her services, develop and brand her own cosmetic products, and use the identity for her future academy.
Our work was structured around two key blocks: Brand Strategy and Visual Identity. We began with the development of a personal brand strategy, defining Valeria’s goals and unique strengths, analyzing competitors, and shaping a clear positioning to help her stand out in the market. This stage also included defining key messages and an initial content direction.
The second stage focused on visual identity. We developed mood boards, explored multiple creative directions, color palettes, logo concepts, and visual styles that reflected Valeria’s profession and artistic approach. The final part of the process was dedicated to social media branding, which plays a key role in Valeria’s communication and visibility today.
Over the course of the project, we delivered four structured presentations covering both brand strategy and visual identity, resulting in a cohesive personal brand that reflects Valeria’s expertise, professionalism, and individuality.

Brand Strategy
The first presentation outlined her positioning in the market, content strategy ideas, and preliminary concepts for tone, style, and branding approach.

Logotype
After reviewing the concepts, she selected two directions for logo development. One of the key ideas was based on a brush element, referencing her work with brows and makeup and emphasizing the artistic nature of her profession.
Following this selection, we prepared a full logo presentation. It included several logo options built around her initials “VA,” detailed explanations of each concept, visual logic behind the designs, and examples of how the logo could be applied across different materials - from business cards to brand visuals.
What you see here is only a small selection of pages from a much larger, in-depth presentation that guided the final decision.

Instagram Visual Style
Valeria followed our visual recommendations and organized a photoshoot aligned with the mood board. This made it possible to clearly see the connection between the initial visual direction and the final result. The photos were created using her corporate blue tones, reinforcing brand recognition and consistency.
In addition, we designed several advertising creatives that followed the same visual system, ensuring a unified look across organic content and paid promotions.
